Metamorphosis

With March upon us, we are excitedly anticipating the arrival of Spring! After a few tantalizing warm days here in the Chicagoland area, we are excited to start to see new life and growth outside. We are encouraging students to blossom and grow inside the studio as well, so this year we are excited to be launching our new annual initiative Metamorphosis!

We felt the youth dance sector lacked a space for budding artists to get to know and learn from their peers across the country without the invisible barriers that usually come with traditional performance settings. We want young dancers to get to explore their own artistry and appreciate that of others in an environment free of fear of judgement, intimidation, or self critique.

This will begin March 17 with this year’s event, Metamorphosis: Fearless Evolution, featuring one of our cutting-edge programs designed specifically for middle school aged dancers:

MOMENTUM- The Metamorphosis Momentum Program is designed to encourage appreciate and dialogue about mental performance pitfalls for middle-aged children.

In every Metamorphosis; Fearless Evolution program, our approach includes...

*Direct feedback from a professional from the Trifecta Dance Collective

*Empowerment seminars with professionals

*Master classes that challenge and inspire a deeper understanding of technique and artistry

Master classes in Trifecta Repertoire,

*Final performance

If you would like to register for this exciting event, visit the Metamorphosis page on our website under “Community,” or email us at tridancecollective@gmail.com. Registration fee includes masterclass, Empowerment seminar, performance, and Q & A with professionals in the dance and theater profession!

While you’re visiting our website, make sure to take a look at our In.grained project! Stay tuned, because we want you, our audience, to get involved and share with us. We want to challenge our audience to reach out to their parents, grandparents or neighbors to find out more of the way they grew up, met the love of their life or what they wish to leave behind in the world for younger generations to learn from. Take a video, picture or write their story and share it with us at tridancecollective@gmail.com to become part of our video presentation at the performance!

We hope to see you on the 17th at Metamorphosis, and we look forward to hearing your stories! Happy March!
