Evelyn Henriksen
Apprentice

Evelyn Henriksen earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, along with an additional major in Social Welfare, in 2026.

Evelyn has had the pleasure of working with and performing works by FLOCK Works, PeterChu, Jared Baker, Jin-Wen Yu, Charles Anderson, Taryn Vander Hoop, among others. Her performance highlights include Dance Forms’ International Choreographers Showcase, Breaking Ground, SoloDuo Festival, Cleveland Dance Festival, and the American College Dance Association. Evelyn has furthered her training through professional intensives with David Dorfman Dance, Perry-Mansfield Professional Intensive, Nova Linea Contemporary Dance, and TAKE Dance.

Outside of performance, Evelyn’s choreographic practice has spanned from intimate solos to large group ensembles, with work presented through numerous UW-Madison concerts and the American College Dance Association. In 2025, she received a senior honors scholarship that supported the creation and premiere of her 30-minute group work, Our Evolving Perceptions.

As a dance educator, Evelyn values student-centered education rooted in imagery, exploration, and individuality. She creates environments where students are equally supported as dancers and growing humans.

Evelyn has the privilege to be joining Trifecta Dance Collective for her first season!
