Tapestry of Tomorrow: A Nutcracker Reimagined

This holiday season, TDC presents the world premiere of Tapestry of Tomorrow, a bold new contemporary reimagining of The Nutcracker.
Commissioned by TDC and created by Principal Dancer and Choreographer Annalee Larsen, Tapestry of Tomorrow takes the magic, wonder and nostalgia of the beloved holiday classic and tells it through an entirely new movement language—trading pointe shoes and traditional ballet for the emotion, expression and artistry of contemporary dance.
If The Nutcracker has always been part of your holiday tradition, come experience it in a way you’ve never seen before. And if you’ve never considered yourself a ballet enthusiast, this Nutcracker may surprise you.
