Katie Scuderi
Dancer

Being from the southwest suburbs of Chicago, Katie began her dance training at the American Dance Center where she trained and performed all throughout the Chicagoland area. To further her dance training, Katie received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Iowa in 2024 where she was a member of the University of Iowa Dance Company in 2023 under the direction of Melinda Myers and Todd Rhoades. During her time at Iowa, Katie also performed works by Jennifer Kayle, Eloy Barragan, Armando Duarte, Kieron Sargeant, and guest choreographers Flock. During her final year of college, Katie was a member of Trifecta Dance Collective’s second company, TDC2, performing a work by Tori Cartee at the Trifecta Dance Festival.

After graduating, she continued her professional training as a trainee with Visceral Dance Chicago under the direction of Cait Cucchiara, where she performed works by Nick Pupillo, Braeden Barnes, Abdiel Figueroa Reyes, Megan Rhodes, Erika Shi, and Aden Hurst.

In addition to her passion for performing, Katie enjoys sharing her knowledge and training with the future generations of dancers through teaching and choreographing. Katie is now in her second season with the collective and is looking forward to what’s to come this year!
