Katie Scuderi
Apprentice

Katie Scuderi is originally from the south suburbs of Chicago, where she began her dance training at the American Dance Center. She graduated from the University of Iowa in 2024 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and was a member of the University of Iowa Dance Company in 2023 under the direction of Melinda Myers and Todd Rhoades. During her time at Iowa, Katie performed works by Jennifer Kayle, Eloy Barragan, Armando Duarte, Kieron Sargeant, and guest choreographers Flock.

During her final year of college, Katie was a member of Trifecta Dance Collective’s second company, TDC2, performing a work by Tori Cartee at the Trifecta Dance Festival. After graduating, she continued her professional training as a trainee with Visceral Dance Chicago under the direction of Cait Cucchiara, where she performed works by Nick Pupillo, Braeden Barnes, Abdiel Figueroa Reyes, Megan Rhodes, Erika Shi, and Aden Hurst.

Katie also enjoys sharing her passion for dance through teaching and is committed to passing on her knowledge to the next generation of dancers. She is thrilled to be joining Trifecta Dance Collective for her first season and is grateful for the opportunity to continue dancing!
